I Remember by Mandira Mukherjee

I remember you in my most lonely moments,
When I feel, awkward, deserted by sensibility,
When mature thoughts fail to give me smart choices,
I remember your integrity.

I remember you in my wisest moments,
When your spirit manifests in those around you,
When I could feel your compassion transmit to the lowly souls,
I remember the ideals practiced by you.

I am scared of your barking moments,
When you bother least about others' feelings,
Still I reserve my pensive being in your custody for cares
I remember your selflessness.

I remember you in my ignorant moments,
When I praise your limitless thirst for knowledge,
Your creativity finds sublimation among your proteges
I remember your surrendering to Infinity, the Supreme Bliss
